Donate a food parcel today!

2011 is slowly coming to an end with the festive season around the corner we have a special request once again for you to consider. Would you be willing to put together a food parcel for a boy who used to live on the streets? The boys are now either in our Intake Shelter or Children's Home in Khayelitsha. They are turning their lives around, and are doing well at school.

We are trying to make sure that every one of the boys receives a special food parcel to take home when visiting his family. The food parcel will make sure and he and his family will have something to eat while he is at home on holiday.

A food parcel will cost approximately R140.

It consists of:
2,5 kg mealie meal : R13.74
2,5 kg sugar : R22.00
2 kg rice : R17.30
1x jar peanut butter : R18.00
2 tins pilchards : R21.16
3 tins bully beef : R21.00
2 bake beans : R11.66
2 sweet corn : R13.84

We can buy the food in bulk on your behalf, but if you prefer to buy them yourself, just let me know as soon as possible. You can either deliver the food parcel to 150 Strand Street, or phone us on (021) 419 9763 to make arrangements for the driver to collect it.
