Our client is an advice-led investment business for the discerning investor. They offer one point of contact for all your advice and investment needs. They are not simply one formidable business. They now seek a Multi Manager Analyst to join their multimanager team.

This role is suitable for appropriately qualified affirmative action candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • You will be responsible for researching, analysing and providing relevant information on external asset managers and to be able to contribute to our asset allocation process. You will be required to research, analyse and provide relevant information;
  • You will be required to make recommendations regarding investment attractiveness of asset managers and investment instruments (bonds, equity and property, both local and international);
  • You will be required to assist with report backs and provides performance feedback;
  • You will be required to make recommendations for the selection of investment decisions including manager selection and asset allocation;
  • Investment performance reporting:
    • You will be required to assist with report backs and provides performance feedback;
  • Investment recommendation:
    • You will be required to make recommendations regarding investment attractiveness of asset managers and investment instruments (bonds, equity, currency, unlisted debt);
    • You will be required to make recommendations for the selection of investment decisions;
  • Investment research:
    • You will be required to research, analyse and provide relevant information;
  • Team effectiveness:
  • ” You will be responsible for others’ time, tasks and output quality;
    • You will be required to balance own priorities with directing and motivating others;
    • You will be required to plan and assign work over applicable period;
    • You will be required to guide and direct staff to achieve operational excellence standards;

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You have a B. Bus Sc / CFA or part / MBA / CA(SA) with clients at audit in financial services;
  • You have minimum 3 – 6 years current, relevant industry experience in a multimanager.
